Bike Tours for the Wounded are proud to support Wounded, Injured and Sick Veterans
"Ride, Refocus and Decide"
Bike Tours for the Wounded (BT4TW) is an Arizona registered non-profit corporation (501c3) that provides direct and indirect support to both active duty and veterans of the US armed forces.
At BT4TW we support all military branches of service and all ranks of those who have served our country. Veterans that have been medically discharged (including but not limited to: Wounded, Ill/Sick or Injured) generally will qualify for this program. Veterans may qualify for our program based on conditions diagnosed after separation from service. Active duty personnel are encouraged to submit an application for consideration.
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can have a tremendously adverse impact on the lives of those who are affected by the condition and those around them. We support and continue to support many serviceman and women with PTSD.
Our sister organization, BT4TW (UK), have brought more than 300 servicemen and women veterans to our guided motorcycle tours in the United States. We also have a guided tour that visits Normandy, France in June to honor those that fought and died during the D-Day assault. Those accepted into our program will be passengers on our guided motorcycle tour(s).
BT4TW USA aims to duplicate the potential benefits to our US Armed Forces personnel (currently being discharged from service) and veterans by offering these potentially life-changing challenges both here and in Europe on the Normandy D-Day challenge.
In June 2019 BT4TW (USA) took four motorcycle operators and four qualified Veterans to Europe to take part in the Normandy D-Day guided motorcycle tour. For the upcoming tour in 2020 we intend to have 10 US Veterans on the D-Day tour. In addition, we are offing 4 individuals places a guided motorcycle tour along Route 66 or an amazing tour of the Wild West as a passenger.
This goal can only be achieved through the generous donations from individuals, organizations and corporations and through our Supporter Membership Program. These Tours can be both mentally and physically challenging, yet have been reported by the participants to be extremely beneficial as part of their personal rehabilitation process.

Helping our Veterans to a brighter future!
Our moto is "Ride, Refocus and Decide". These BT4TW challenges have had life changing positive effects on many of the veterans we have supported over the years and with your help we can continue to support many more veterans at their time of need! If you feel that you could help, we would love to hear from you.
The ride allows a veteran to sit on the back of a motorcycle and think about nothing other than the changes in scenery. It also brings veterans with similar issues together.
Having time to reflect is really important for any individual. This challenge allows the veterans to do just that whilst at the same time mixing with successful individuals (Their Riders) who in the past have become mentors and new friends
Quite often our experience has shown that some veterans get caught in a trap thinking that current situation is permanent. What this challenge does is help them unlock a brighter future.
